- Your engine code if you know it (e.g. G4KJ, G4NB, D4CB) — it is stamped on the block and listed on many service invoices.
- What the car is doing — knocking, smoke, overheating or a workshop diagnosis all help us give you a straight answer quickly.
What happens next
We check compatibility against your VIN, quote the engine (or supply-and-fit if you want us to install it at our Dandenong workshop), and confirm timing. A typical supply-and-fit takes 2-3 business days once the engine is ready. Every reconditioned engine leaves with a 12-month warranty, and we deliver Australia-wide if your own mechanic is doing the installation.
